Building off of our previous workshop on the In-Stroke, we will apply our newly learned technique to explore the rhythmic ideas of many common Drum Kit grooves. Have you ever drummed along to one of your favourite songs? Perhaps trying to match what the drummer is playing? Many of these rhythms are possible to adapt to the bodhran and can be learned by ear. For this workshop we will learn how to play some common grooves from the Drum Kit and how we can apply some of these ideas into playing Celtic tunes.
