Jacob is continuing his online Bodhrán workshop series via Zoom starting on Saturday May 16th and running every two weeks. The topic of the upcoming workshop is: Taking Your Grooves to the Next Level.
This workshop is all about how to step out of the habit of playing tunes the same every time with the same or similar types of grooves. Focusing primarily on Jigs and Reels, we will learn how to use improvisation as well as learning some tasteful grooves to incorporate into your playing. This is a precursor to the next workshop (Musical Analysis and Playing to the Tune) which will go further in depth on how to take your improvisation to the next level and learn how to really play to the specific tune.
Package Deal available for the next three workshops. Please refer to the Package Deal listing on the Tour Dates page
